Privacy policy

JJ's Cheatsheet is a free fantasy basketball site. There are no accounts and no sign-up, and the site doesn't use tracking cookies. This page explains what data is involved when you use it.
What stays in your browser
The site remembers a few things so you don't have to set them up again. They're saved with your browser's local storage, on your own device:
- Players you star (your team)
- Your league type, league size and points scoring
- The players in your trade checker
- Whether projections use season averages or the last 5 games
This information is never sent to JJ's Cheatsheet. Nobody else can see it. You can delete it anytime by clearing your browser's site data for this website.
Shared trade links
When you use Share this trade, the link contains the ESPN player ID numbers for each side of the trade. It contains nothing about you. Anyone you send the link to can see those players.
Services the site connects to
To show stats and keep the page working, your browser connects directly to these services. Like any website, they can see your IP address and basic browser details when it does.
- ESPN, for scores, schedules, injuries, news, player stats and headshots, using their public data feeds. JJ's Cheatsheet isn't affiliated with ESPN or the NBA.
- Google Fonts, for the site's typefaces.
- The hosting provider, which serves the site's files and may keep standard server logs, such as IP address, pages requested and time, for security and reliability.
Each of these services handles that data under its own privacy policy.
Visitor statistics
The site uses Cloudflare Web Analytics to count visits. It shows totals, such as how many people visited, which pages they viewed, the country they visited from, their device type and the site that linked to this one. It doesn't use cookies, doesn't store anything on your device and doesn't track you across other websites. The statistics only show totals and can't be used to identify you.
Tips
Tips are optional and are processed by Stripe. When you tip, you leave this site and pay on Stripe's checkout page. Your full card number never reaches JJ's Cheatsheet. Stripe shares the basic details needed to record the payment, such as your name, email, amount and the last four digits of your card. These are used only to keep a record of the tip. They're never sold or shared. Stripe's handling of your payment is covered by Stripe's own privacy policy.
What the site doesn't do
- No accounts, logins or passwords.
- No tracking or advertising cookies.
- No selling or renting of personal information.
Children
The site isn't directed at children under 13 and doesn't knowingly collect their personal information.
Changes
If this policy changes, for example if ads or analytics are added, this page will be updated and the date at the top will change.
